Back and forth,
Swings the clock,
Crumble and burn,
It stands to mock.

Run and jump,
Tumble and fall,
Stern reminder to us all.

Blurred vision,
Mixed with broken heart,
Lies and deceit,
Led from the start.

What once was said,
Uttered no more,
What's whispered in silence,
Closes the door.
